The FCA is dedicated to educating consumers on the options available for low cost, dignified end of life care. We began this service in 1948. Our organization contracts with several local funeral homes to provide these services. All funeral homes are licensed by the State of Texas, and they all buy their products from the same places--so the difference is really cost and manipulation of the grieving--please know that love is not defined by how much you spend. We recommend you pre-plan for this event--join the FCA, talk with your family about what you want at the end, so when the time comes your loved ones will know your wishes, know the preparations you have made and know that death care can be affordable. For example, our members are paying $565.00 for a cremation which includes pick-up of the deceased, necessary permits, the container and the cremation.
